WHO WE ARE

We are a nonprofit consisting of community leaders diagnosed with Parkinson’s and care persons who are working to improve connections, resources, events and advocacy opportunities.

WHY WE EXIST

We connect with all Parkinson’s organizations on a state and national level to ensure that support group leaders have equitable access to the same resources, events, classes and ongoing support in the Parkinson’s community. We work to ensure each group leader has the tools to offer our Parkinson’s community members what they actually need to improve their daily lives.

WHY IT MATTERS TO YOUR HEALTH

Our long-term goal is to become a one-stop shop for Louisiana, with unified resources. To help achieve this, we need people from all areas of the state to contribute their experience, connections, knowledge and desires for the Parkinson’s community.

JOIN US

We meet the first Friday of each month at the Bluebonnet Library, 9200 Bluebonnet Blvd., in Baton Rouge from 9:30 to 11 a.m. All are welcome to attend and get to know us!
